The highlight of my entire trip, I was in Nepal for one short month, spending 14 days trekking around Annapurna with local guide Keshab and a German named Jakob I had met only 3 days before departing. Walking amongst some of the most spectacular, strange, and almost-alien landscapes I'll probably ever see with my own eyes, and ascending to a final height of 5416m over Thorong-La Pass, it was easily one of the most memorable, fulfilling, and physically demanding experiences of my life.
